We’ve lovingly handcrafted each one from original blue Welsh slate, carefully salvaged from the fallen roof of the historic Barham Memorial School. The Heritage Character
Because these slates spent over a century braving the Welsh elements, they are beautifully ‘perfectly imperfect’.
Rich Texture: Features rugged, authentic edges finished with a coat of food-safe mineral oil to bring out the slate's deep, natural character.
Historic Details: Look closely and you’ll find beautiful copper streaks, mineral deposits, or even the original hand-punched nail holes where they were secured to the roof generations ago.
In the Box: Sold as a beautifully matched set of 4 (approx. 4" x 4").
Surface Protection: Fitted with soft cork backing feet to protect your tables from scratches.
Authenticity: Every set includes a dedicated Certificate of Authenticity documenting the origin and story of your slate.
